Course Overview

The PADI Tec 50 will further develop skills learned in the Tec 45 stage of training to extend divers abilities. The program will focus on expended decompression planning and the use of 2 deco bottles.

You will learn how to plan extended bottom and deco times along with the options and protocols to handle emergencies during extended range dives. There is a focus on bottle handling and gas switch protocols as by carrying two deco cylinders, there is a new risk of switching to the wrong gas at the wrong depth by confusing your deco gases.
