PADI Open Water - Learn To Dive
PADI Open Water Training is now Available!
Ocean Quest utilizes the smallest student to instructor ratios for Open Water (Learn to Dive) training in Greater Vancouver. Our ratios are typically 3 to 4 people per instructor when diving in the pool or ocean. Many stores use ratios of 6 or even 8 students per instructor and often have different instructors throughout your program.
PADI Advanced Open Water
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the best way for new divers to expand your diving experience under the supervision of a professional PADI Instructor.
The typical PADI Advanced program is about gaining experience in different areas of diving such as Deep, Night, Navigation, etc. You will find that many dive centres/instructors simply supervise divers during these dives allowing divers to gain experience, however, there is often a “hands-off” approach when it comes to these dives offering the students very little actual instruction.

PADI Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a divers knowledge, confidence, and experience. The course teaches you how to effectively perform in-water rescues, assist and manage diving accidents, as well as it teaches valuable self-rescue skills. The course consists of four knowledge development topics, 10 Rescue Exercises, and two Rescue Scenarios.

Scuba Career Program (7-months, Full-time)
Our Scuba Career Program is a 7 month, full-time program specifically designed for those who are seeking a career in the diving industry. The program was put together to offer the most comprehensive PADI instructor training program available, taking students through several PADI training programs and finishing with the PADI Instructor Development Course along with PADI Specialty Instructor ratings. It has evolved from over 20 years of experience training divers and PADI Instructors.
