Pool dive will take place at UBC Aquatic Centre from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm

The AIDA 1 Star Freediving Course introduces students to freediving. In this course you will learn the basic theory of freediving, how to prepare for a breath hold, and how to snorkel/freedive safely. This course is intended for complete beginners who want to learn to snorkel or freedive no deeper than 10 meters, or as an introduction class that will lay groundwork for more training at a later date.

• One full weekend day or equivalent
• Pool only, no open water
• No prerequisite course is required
