The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the best way for new divers to expand your diving experience under the supervision of a professional PADI Instructor. The typical PADI Advanced program is about gaining experience in different areas of diving such as Deep, Night, Navigation, etc.  You will find that many dive centres/instructors simply supervise divers during these dives allowing divers to gain experience, however, there is often a “hands off” approach when it comes to these dives offering the students very little actual instruction.
