Course Overview
The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a divers knowledge, confidence and experience. The course teaches you how to effectively perform in-water rescues, assist and manage diving accidents, as well as it teaches valuable self rescue skills.
The course consists of four knowledge development topics, 10 Rescue Exercises and two Rescue Scenarios.
The Emergency First Response (EFR) is a separate non-diving CPR and First Aid Program in which may be packaged with the PADI Rescue Course for those who do not have current (within 24 months) CPR training upon enrolling in the Rescue Course. The EFR program meets the training requirements for PADI Rescue Certification as well as PADI Divemaster and PADI Instructor level prerequisites.
