Course Goals –The PADI Tec Instructor course is the entry level PADI Tec Instructor rating introducing you to the organization and conduct of PADI Tec 40 programs. The course will review knowledge concepts, hone skills specifically related to technical diving and apply teaching concepts.

A Tec 40 Instructor is qualified to:

  • Independently conduct and certify PADI Tec 40 Divers
  • Conduct Discover Tec programs

The Tec Instructor course consists of two parts. Part One reviews key concepts from the Tec 40 and Tec 45 programs at the student level. Part Two takes the knowledge and skills from Part One and applies them to the instructor’s perspective.
