PADI Tec Trimix 65 Diver

Course Goals

The PADI Tec 65 will further develop skills learned in the Tec 50 stage of training to extend divers abilities. Successful students will be qualified to utilize trimix with a minimum oxygen content of 18% as a bottom gas and complete accelerated decompression dives using two decompression cylinders with enriched air or O2 to a maximum depth of 210 ft/ 65 m.

Prerequisites

  1. Be a PADI Rescue Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another organization and having proof of CPR and first aid training with the previous two years).
  2. Be certified as a Tec 50 (or hold a qualifying certification from another organization)
  3. Be at least 18 years old
  4. Have logged at least 100 dives
  5. Have a medical form signed by your physician

Tec Trimix 65 Tuition - $1195.00 - students are responsible for materials and mixed gas fills (including instructor fills). See note below regarding the Assessment Dive.

As per agency standards:

An Assessment is required for students entering the Tec Trimix Diver course with a qualifying prerequisite certification from another training
organization. It is required for Tec Deep Diver certified students who have not made a technical decompression dive requiring a decompression cylinder to 40 metres/130 feet or deeper within the previous six months.
