About PADI Tec 50 / Tec 50 Trimix

Explore the Depths with Confidence – Enroll in PADI Tec 50!

Achieve greater depths and longer dives with the PADI Tec 50 course. This advanced training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to safely navigate deeper underwater environments and extended range dives. Taught by the technical diving experts at Ocean Quest!

In the program, you will learn how to plan extended bottom and decompression times along with options and protocols to handle emergencies during extended range technical dives. There is a heightened focus on bottle handling and gas switch protocols as by carrying two deco cylinders, there is a new risk of switching to the wrong gas at the wrong depth by confusing your deco gases.

The Ocean Quest Difference…

The PADI Tec 50 program is designed to teach the use 2 x Decompression Cylinders. The Ocean Quest PADI Tec 50 program also introduces the use and benefits of a Stage Bottle. Successful students will be able to plan dives utilizing one stage and one decompression bottle or two decompression bottles. Students will complete their final dive using Trimix. Trimix makes dives in the 165ft / 50m range safer and more enjoyable.
